The good:
All fluids changed in last 10k miles. Tranny, front and rear diff, transfer case. Coolant. Brake fluid.
Fresh air filter.
New battery.
New monomax shocks.
New brakes in rear, front brakes are good.
Fresh tune up (new plugs wires and caps)
New tires at 134k
(open range AT+ from Les Schwab. One of best tires on market. 3 peak and snowflake rated. Warranty of 65k miles. 50k to go.)
I’m only second owner. Always used full synthetic oil.
A Sony receiver touch screen with Apple CarPlay and new Harmon kardon speakers all round. New kicker sub in the back where factory sub was. System sounds good.
Vehicle spent its life in Oregon. I bought it there a few years ago. I just moved here to Minneapolis so it hasn’t seen a winter here yet. No major rust anywhere. Some surface’s rust from normal use in a state that doesn’t
use salt. No flaking. Solid frame.
Definitely ready for another 100k with simple maintenance.
It’s also got adjustable air bags in the bag for towing.
The bad:
AC does not work. I tried getting it recharged professionally but it didn’t work. Compressor is fine. Think there’s just a major leak in condenser.
Also, clear coat is coming off on hood and some on driver side.
Leaks a little bit of oil. Like a quart per oil change. Think it needs a new pan gasket is all.
Drivers seat leather isn’t in awful shape but it’s not great either. Rest of seats are in great shape and both seat heaters work.
I’ve had it less than 3 years. All this works been done in there, mostly in past 10k miles.
