Selling my 1997 Lexus LX 450 (80-Series Toyota Land Cruiser). 145xxx miles, probably lowest mile driver example you'll find in the area. It's hard to find these trucks 100% stock with less than 200k miles. This isn't any run-of-the-mill 28 year old SUV... widely considered to be one of the best-engineered and well-built trucks ever made; "if you know, you know."
Zero mechanical issues, runs + drives flawlessly - has been the most reliable and maintenance-free vehicle I've ever owned. Center locking differential, does not have factory triple lockers. All original/no mods, with the exception of some 3D-printed cupholders I installed. Some minor exterior cosmetic scrapes and scratches, and has interior covers on drivers seat + steering wheel as those materials commonly wear on these 90's Toytotas/Lexus. I have the foldable third row seats and will include those, don't think they've ever been used.
Has been a Minnesota car it's whole life, so has some very minor rust, but nothing critical and was rustproofed when bought new. It has been garaged every winter I've owned it, so has not seen snow/salt since 2020. Recently replaced/fixed driver side power seat mechanism at Lexus of Wayzata. Clean CarFax with no accidents (see screenshot attached).
I'm a car guy and have owned the truck since 2020 and have put ~10,000 miles on it since purchasing (~2k miles/year). I have service records spanning decades that were pulled via Lexus using the VIN which I will include with the sale, and it's been meticulously maintained throughout it's life.
I wish I didn't have to sell it, but need to make room for my brand new 4Runner so my time as steward of this vehicle has come to an end. This would be the perfect truck for someone who wants a 90's time capsule, needs a reliable hauler, or would be a perfect blank canvas for an overlanding/adventure rig.
Asking $12,000 OBO. Want to give it to a good home, as the truck has a really cool story - feel free to ask me about it.
