No visible blemishes or tears in the fabric. Comes from a non-smoking household. A cat has scratched the top of one of the armrests, but it's held up fairly well. The main issue is that the springs in the cushions are stiff and give them a lumpy quality. They might dig into you a little, but it's not intolerable.
The couch is very light and disassembles for easy transport. You could probably carry it in a small SUV or even a smaller car if you fold the seats down.
The pillows in the picture are optional, if you want them.
