Responsibilities -
Safely operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers with end dump configurations, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and ensuring secure and efficient handling of bulk agricultural products.
Drive route-specific deliveries and maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, load details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during trips.
Assist with yard duties such as securing loads, inspecting equipment, and supporting other team members as needed.
Skills -
Proven experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in various conditions.
Knowledge of handling different types of bulk materials.
Familiarity with load & unload procedures using yard truck or other loading equipment.
Strong understanding of route driving best practices to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards.
Ability to operate specialized trucks such as dump trucks or end dump trailers confidently and responsibly.
Excellent driving record with experience in commercial driving environments; delivery driver experience is highly valued.
