Builders Equipment Company (BEC) is hiring an experienced Construction Equipment Technician / Diesel Technician to work in our shop or run a service truck out of our Hugo location.
If you’re looking for steady hours, variety in the work, and a job where you’re home every night, this is a solid long-term opportunity.
Pay & Schedule
• $23–$39+/hour DOE
• Full-time, year-round work
• Monday–Friday | 6:00am – 3:30pm
• Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
• Home every night
What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll handle a wide range of construction and industrial equipment, both onsite and in the shop, including:
• Telehandlers & industrial lifts (Yale, Clark, Combi)
• Trucks & truck cranes (International, Western Star, Peterbilt)
• Fleet cars & trucks
• Generators, cranes, and related equipment
• Engine, drivetrain, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics & repairs
👉 This is a great role for a tech who wants variety, not the same machine every day.
What We’re Looking For
• Diesel or equipment repair experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain)
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Clear DMV record
• Comfortable working in a shop and/or service truck environment
