The Stant ST-255A is a radiator pressure tester and cooling system diagnostic tool designed to test the pressure of a vehicle's cooling system to find leaks and ensure proper operation. It includes a pressure gauge and is often sold with a hard-shell storage case and manual. The ST-255A is a well-regarded, rugged tool, made in the USA, that helps diagnose overheating issues by checking radiator caps and system integrity.
Note: This tool was designed and manufactured in an era of few differences in rad collar and cap size. As we dealt with vintage vehicles, that was not a concern for us. A shop dealing in general repair would need to acquire appropriate adapters
Used prices range from $50 and up (see pic 3) plus shipping and taxes, so I have priced this at $40 'out the door'
