For sale is a Vintage Original Spec (VOS) reissue of a first year 1958 Gibson ES-335. Some unique features to a ’58 is that it’s a “long guard”, “Mickey mouse ear” body, and most uniquely, has an unbound neck. The neck is a thicker ‘58 profile, but being unbound is very comfortable to play and fits in the hand great. I’ve had this guitar since new in 2018 and its been my go to, but I’m shuffling up the lineup and this is one casualty. The guitar Is all original except for a bone nut and I replaced the tuners with Gotohs but will include the originals. The wiring is untouched and has never been altered or changed. It includes the original hard shell case with COA. This has the “MHS” humbucker PAF recreations exclusive to these VOS models. They’re a great PAF reproduction and are on the lower output side, and are incredibly well balanced.

The guitar has some finish scratches and light wear, including a couple small nicks. Some is from me and some came with the light relicing of the VOS spec from the factory. The case is a bit more worn, with one piece of covering missing and some wear as shown but functions totally fine.
