DDA made world class preamps and baddass EQs that rival Neve, Calrec, Trident etc... quite British 4 band innit. The shop doesnt wanna ship it. Its well made so probably 80lbs
It contains the 16 mic / line channels... thats all no PSU. Its missing a few knobs and switch tips (like $10 in parts) but is in pretty good shape. Its a great 16 ch front and summing /analog british studio back end for your DAW using the many IOs, direct outs, inserts etc. I am unable to get over there now so I wanna find a home for it. thats about $12 a channel. Someone is racking up just the EQs and selling them for $300 a pop. LMK if you want em. Offers and trades considered. Thanks!
I first discovered DDA on a London session with mix giant Tom Elmhurst (Trevor Horns engineer at the time) who did insane art sonic dub solos like Aphex Twin meets Lee Perry, just using the desks eqs, pres, send and returns into echo reverb etc. Never seen anything like it before or since.
