RARE 50th Anniversary Traynor YBA-1 Tribute Bass Master Amplifier Head with Matching YBX-212 Speaker Cabinet in MINT condition. Famously known as the poor man's Vintage Marshall for good reason. Sounds like a cross between a Super Lead and a Super Bass. I've owned both over the years as well as many Vintage Traynor amplifiers including the YBA-1, and this amp sounds just as good as any of them. What sets this amp apart is the built-in attenuator. Instead of a master volume, you can dial it down using the switch on the rear panel to go from 40W to 2.5W. And it sounds great in any position! There were only 100 of these amplifiers made and they sold out instantly. This head is #31. The speaker cabinet was specifically made for this amp and it sounds fantastic. It is a vertical 2x12" slant design with Celestion Vintage 30's rated at 60W each. Everything works perfectly on the amp and cabinet and there have been no mods, alterations, repairs, etc. This set-up was over $2,000 new and prices for these limited edition heads will only go up especially in this condition if you can find them.
