I'm selling my Vortex V3 flip phone as featured on Jose Briones' YouTube channel on dumbphones and digital minimalism. I'm always on the search of the perfect dumbphone and this one is pretty close. One of my biggest gripes is that the USB-C port is only for charging, you cannot connect headphones to it, but Bluetooth does work for audio.
This is a clone of the old Motorola RAZR flip phones from 20 years or so ago.
Anywho, you get the phone in good condition along with the battery, battery back, box, and accessories. It is unlocked, but I only used it with T-Mobile, I'm not sure how well this would work with Verizon or AT&T.
When using it I had Google Chome on it, Spotify, Aquamail, Playmetrics, and a handful of other apps; just to give you an idea of what it is capable of. Everything is slightly tricky to setup, takes time and patience since it is a non-touchscreen flip phone. I suggest getting a Bluetooth keyboard for setup to enter passwords, FYI.
It is factory reset and ready to go.
One last note (just because whoever buys this I want them setup for success on using it since setup can be tricky, full disclosure), I created my own ADB script to remove a slew up apps not needed. For instance Google Assistant I took off the phone because it is not needed, but I would also accidently hit the button frequently that would bring it up. I will include a print out of the software I removed safely from the phone, but THIS WILL COME FACTORY RESET WITH NO SOFTWARE FROM STOCK REMOVED.
Let me know if you have any questions. I can meet in the Woodbury, Lakeland, Hudson, Stillwater, Afton areas if interested.
