JL Schwieters is hiring Manufacturing Assemblers for our indoor wood manufacturing facility in Hugo. If you like working with your hands, building things, and working a consistent day schedule — this is a great fit.
Pay & Schedule
Starting at $18.00/hr (more with experience)
Day Shift Options:
Mon–Thurs: 6:00am – 4:30pm | Fri: 5:30am – 1:30pm
OR Mon–Fri: 5:30am – 3:30pm
Full-time, year-round work
What You’ll Be Doing
Building walls, floors, trusses, and stairs
Using nail guns, saws, tape measures, and hand tools
Working on your feet in a production environment
Following drawings and instructions
👉 If you can read a tape measure and show up ready to work, we can train you.
What We’re Looking For
Reliable attendance
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Comfortable using tools (or learning quickly)
Framing or construction experience is a plus — but not required.
