JL Schwieters is hiring Experienced Truss Assemblers for our indoor manufacturing facility in Hugo.
This position is for individuals with 1+ year of current, hands-on truss assembly experience. If you are currently building trusses or have done so within the past year, we want to talk to you.
This is construction inside — no weather delays, no seasonal layoffs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Build roof and floor trusses in a production environment
Read and interpret truss drawings and layouts
Use pneumatic nail guns, presses, and hand tools
Maintain production pace while meeting safety standards
Required:
1+ year of current truss assembly experience
Strong tape measure skills
Experience using nail guns and power tools
Ability to follow prints and production layouts
Reliable attendance
