The bottom bunk is generally 10" from the floor and the upper bunk is 54" from the floor which works great for rooms with 8' ceilings. Can be customized for your needs.
I used solid 2x6 and 2x4s construction grade lumber (mostly pine) from Menards. It is very sturdy, will last for years and able to hold over 400lbs on each bed.
I can add other options such as front ladder - $50. Storage Steps - $170. Spiral Staircase - $220 (a little extra for railings on the steps). Under bed 4 drawer storage - $240. Trundle on swivel casters - starting at $120.
You can pick up at my house outside New Richmond or we can arranged delivery and set up for an additional fee.
I am not able to paint or stain as my shop is not outfitted for finishing.
