Captain Gary Kulibert, lead instructor for Explorer's Guide Maritime Academy, is teaching a USCG-Approved OUPV (6 Pack) Captain's Class in New Richmond, WI, just over the Minnesota/Wisconsin border. Are you thinking about becoming a fishing guide, tour guide, or working the boats in Alaska? This is the class you need. Anyone who is sitting on the fence about getting a merchant mariner's credential should enroll in this class.
The USCG-Approved OUPV Captain's License lets you take up to 6 paying passengers, plus crew, on your vessel. The course was designed for Captains working and boating on federal waters with passengers for hire. It teaches what you know to be safe on the water.
Learn what it takes to be a Captain! The class teaches the "Rules of the Road," how to plot your navigational course, what to know about weather, tides, aids to navigation, vessel maneuvering and handling, communications, and boating safety. Lessons are a mix of lecture, video presentations, exercises, and hands-on practical. Exams are given the last day of class. Explorer's Guide Maritime Academy has a 97%+ pass rate on exams.
Take control of your future with the help of Captain Gary and Explorer's Guide. In just two long weekends, you can complete the Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels course and be on your way to obtaining your Captain's license. Application help is also provided at no additional charge.
