A 56cm Klein Quantum frameset in the beautiful Silver Cloud color scheme. The fork is Klein's carbon Air Rail OD fork. Includes the original Cane Creek S2 headset and bottom bracket cable guide.
The blue tape you see on the frameset isn't hiding anything, it's securing the plastic tubes you need to easily install cables for the internal routing. Without these you may end up suicidal by the time you get a cable installed. It usually involves running a magnet on the outside of the aluminum tubes to guide the cable. Ask me how I know...you don't want to go there.
There are no dents or dings. It is a used frame to there's not 100% perfection and I wouldn't claim there was. These Klein gradient aluminum frames are SUPER stiff. If you like stiff, and I mean more then carbon stiff, this is for you. Yet, for whatever reason, they ride surprisingly smooth.
I have a Plum Crazy Q Elite (carbon) and a Q Pro XV in Silver Storm. If you've never had a Klein with the debossed paint work (there are no decals, all the logos and such are in the paint) there's really not a mroe beautiful frameset.
I was going to keep this for a "rainy" day. Well, that was four years ago from when I got the Q-Pro and I think it's probably a travesty to have this frameset sitting doing nothing. Hence I'd like it to go to someone who will really appreciate it. I rode with with the Ksyrium Elites in my other posting and Shimano 105 5700. The combo made for an awesome bike. The Q-Pro now has Ksyrium SLs and the 5700.
I work in Edina and can meet for inspection in a 20 minutes radius or so. Otherwise evenings in Woodbury.
Check my other ads for that awesome set of Ksyrium Elites that would work great on this frameset.
