The Beckman Microfuge 11 is a non-refrigerated tabletop centrifuge which rapidly sediments protein precipitates, large particles, cell debris, or cells from small volumes. It may also be used for binding studies, to separate organic-aqueous extraction phases, and for serum separation before electrolyte and other microchemical determinations. The Microfuge 11 has 13 speed settings adjusted in 500 rpm increments, and a 15-minute timer in 30 second increments. The run speed is held constant ±500rpm.
