I am told it is ca 1935-1959. I’ve collected vintage and antique cast iron for nearly 30 years and this one is the only one like this that I’ve ever run across.
Usually, the lid is lost. If you can find a lid, they often run $125 alone. This way, you are assured of a perfect fit because they have never been separated.
There’s nothing like chicken fried in lard in a cast iron skillet! And you need a deep one to do it.
#8 10.5 inches in diameter. Usable as is or clean and season yourself to restore to pristine condition.
