Quality Assurance/Knowledge Base Writer

Qualities:
Responsible for making sure there are no major defects in any release products
Be an integral part of the release cycle for each product
Ability to multi-task between various projects
Testing web-based applications built on the Vodigy framework
Strong process testing skills and attention to detail

Duties:
Write test cases for the tasks and defects that are part of each release
Help maintain the backlog of work items for various products
Strong communication with the development team leaders
Take suggestions from internal support, implementation, and sales for new ideas
Help triage tasks and defects to determine importance
Acquire working knowledge of products that are being tested
Assist in documentation (release notes, user guides)
Write and edit end-user and internal-user knowledge base content describing Vodigy Software processes.
Collaborate with Support Engineers to optimize and maintain internal and external content for usability and accessibility, while maintaining a high bar for quality.
Work directly with development teams and Support stakeholders to produce world-class knowledge base articles.
Manage all aspects of the documentation process--from planning to content maintenance.

Qualifications: •
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communication or education or related area or professional experience equivalent.
Has a high degree of technical understanding and is able to follow and participate in technical discussions?
Must possess a positive attitude with strong work ethic, integrity and honesty
Self-starter capable of working independently or in groups
Have strong written and content creation skills.
Be highly organized with acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
Be able to write content that clearly communicates complex technical topics to customers.
Be able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Be able to research, develop, write, and edit effective content with a focus on the intended audience.
Have experience designing and delivering customer-oriented documentation.
Advocate for Software Quality Assurance best practices preferred
