This is a vintage Portage Pack Company pack manufactured in Minneapolis - a very classy piece of Minnesota history. It has typical leather and canvas construction. Tuff as nails, it has many BWCA trips behind it and it's good for many more! It is a rare pack, similar in size and construction to a Duluth No. 4, and while uncommon there are a few on Ebay running $125 to well over $200.

This pack will hold much more than I care to hoist onto my back these days, been going to the BWCA spring and fall since the 70's so hopefully it will find a good home with someone who also enjoys wilderness canoe trips!
Also includes a new Pack Liner bag to guarantee things stay dry! Looking for $120 or best offer
