ROGERS 60'S TOWER KIT

Selling a mid 1960's ROGERS TOWER KIT in "outstanding" condition. This kit comes with the ever elusive 14" x 14" floor tom. I originally bought this kit from a collector in Minneapolis and a good portion of this ad is from the original Craigslist post and is edited with some of my wording. I wanted to keep a record and as much info on this kit so that's why I kept the original ad. The original wording from this original posted ad says it like it is and says it perfectly, so that's why I decided to use a good portion of the original ad from Craigslist along with some of my add-in wording and my experience with this kit.

This kit was meticulously gone through and cleaned up by one of the most renown drum gurus in the Twin Cities by the name of Myron Dargus. He only had to replace a couple washers and tension rods, and even those were replaced with original era-correct Rogers parts. This is a kit from his personal collection, went to a collector, then to me the current owner. The drums are all original Tower drums complete with original paper tags inside.

There are only a handful of these all-original Tower kits left in existence in Champagne Sparkle. It's incredibly hard to find an original Tower floor tom. (Someone offered the collector I bought the kit from $1200 for just the floor tom). Even the heads are new. I set this kit up for about a month after I bought it and then they went into the cases. Truth be told I am more of a rock drummer and I'm running out of room for drums. As a more of a standard size rock drummer, it does makes sense to sell the jazz/fusion size kit. But isn't easy because I absolutely adore this kit.

Make no mistake about it, these pictures show a beautiful kit, but the pictures do this kit NO JUSTICE. I will guarantee that if you see these drums in person you will be as amazed as I first was. When I first saw this kit in person I was absolutely blown away. I honestly don't think there are too many kits of this era in this spectacular condition. No rust, no cracked lugs, spotless, and all paper tags present and pictured. Impeccable condition and they sound great!!!! What you see is what you get, the drums with brand new coated Remo heads top and bottom, plus all hardware including the cymbal arm in the picture, and I'll even throw in some cases.
Thank you,

I believe the 12, 14, 20 are 1965, and the snare is a 1963, which may have been added at some point but WOW, DO THEY ALL MATCH IN COLOR!!!
condition: like new/ excellent/ mint
make / manufacturer: Rogers
model name / number: Tower
size / dimensions: 12, 14, 20, 14 snare

****$2400 is a great price for these drums, $2100 without the snare***

This is a real deal 1960s Rogers Towers kit 12, 14, 20 with matching 14 snare

Seriously like new condition!!

No rust, no cracked lugs, spotless, and all paper tags present and pictured. One tag even has the famous F for Frank Walters

YES, this is all original and if you know what this kit is, then you already know the floor tom is a unicorn of sorts and would sell for well over $1000 alone, but I will not break up the kit. I want to keep the snare badly but won't even do that!

Entire kit sounds FANTASTIC and would make the PERFECT studio kit!
