Looking to build a new shed in my backyard so I can finally use my garage for a car. I can buy and haul the lumber. You just help guide me down the proper path with materials and the process. I'm no stranger to hard work. I'd enjoy learning and working alongside. Looking for best practices and guidance on building a 10 x 12 with a large door on one end. Window isn't entirely necessary, but it might be nice to offer some natural light inside. There is no slab. I'm open to different materials too. I wouldn't say I'm on a tight budget, but cost is always a concern. I want something that will last, is well built, and won't break the bank. Asphalt shingles or steel roof? Heck I don't know what the cost or benefits of one over another are. Likely to build in either June or August. July is out.
