Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests.
- Handle reservations and ensure proper table assignments to optimize seating arrangements.
- Provide guests with menus and waters.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, dining area, and restrooms.
- Bus tables and reset to ensure efficient turnover for guests.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as as SpotOn.
- Good phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with others in a restaurant setting.
