Northwest Respiratory Services, servicing respiratory needs since 1976, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our fast-paced inbound call center in St. Paul, Minnesota servicing customers over the phone. The ideal candidate would have to be available between the hours of 8am - 5:30pm and able to work a 40 hour week, plus some Saturdays. We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
◾Handle high volume of telephone calls and faxed durable medical equipment orders
◾Register customers in the intake system by entering customer demographics, physician orders, and equipment
◾Provide over-the-phone customer assistance with equipment troubleshooting and/or problem solving
◾Read and interpret department documents when required
◾Work collaboratively with other Customer Service Representatives to ensure best practices are shared and the workload is completed
◾Record details of inquiries, complaints, and comments as well as take action to resolve issues
◾Ability to be punctual and dependable with a stable work history
◾Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
◾Ability to exercise good judgement on handling phone calls appropriately
◾Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
◾Excellent telephone skills
◾Accurate typing skills
◾At least 1 year of previous call center customer service experience required
◾Previous medical experience/knowledge is preferred, but not required
◾Bilingual is a plus!
