Up for your consideration is a rare David Green Alaskan Eskimo sheep skin parka with fur trim and hand stitched decorative cuff trim in good condition. My vintage clothing gal thinks the hood trim could be caribou and the decorative bottom trim could be reindeer. There a few worn spots on the parka as shown in my photos along with a few minor tears in 2 of the bottom decorative trim triangles and a small tear by the cuff. But overall it is in very sound condition. The heavy duty 2 way zipper is smooth, the wood latch on hood is soundly stitched and the 2 pockets are in good condition. The interior is quilted and the artwork on sleeve is hand stitched. My gal says it is probably a woman’s size 10 with measurements of the sleeve being 17 inches from the inner pit or 24 from shoulder to end of sleeve; the back yolk is 18 inches wide, the length from the collar is 29 inches and overall width is 23 inches. The model is 5 ft 4 inches.I just heard from an online person saying the hood trim is probably wolverine because it does not wick moisture from breathe making it stiff.
