This bike rack was used only three times to transport bikes less than thirty miles. Other than some expected extremely light scuffing where the rack went into the hitch receiver, you can expect this rack to look just like it came right out of the box. Locks and keys for the two bikes and for the hitch pin. All factory tools that come standard with the product are included.
This rack is set up for a 1 1/4" hitch receiver. If you have a 2" hitch receiver, you can convert your 2" receiver to 1 1/4" with this $15 adapter from Amazon:
This rack is currently on sale at REI 20% off for $439: https://www.rei.com/product/129560/yakima-holdup-evo-2-bike-hitch-rack

(Note: the 2014 Kia Soul isn’t listed because the Soul is not rated for towing, so Yakima doesn’t show the hitch mounted racks for this vehicle. However, they do make a hitch for the KIA Soul for the purpose of installing a bike rack. I would contact Burnsville Trailer Hitch show contact info
if you have questions.)
Footnote: 90% of the time we ride tandem, and use a Tandem Topper like device to get the bike way up there on top of a KIA Soul. But due to a medical condition, getting two single bikes way up there on top of the roof was becoming pretty difficult, so last spring we bought this hitch mount rack, and used it three times.
Well, conditions have changed again. It it is now becoming more difficult to get the tandem on top of the car. In addition, next year we will likely buy a different car, and our current roof rack won’t likely fit on the new car. So, we just purchased a Draftmaster rack that can carry one tandem and two single bikes on the rear hitch receiver. So, we no longer need this bike rack that is now for sale.
There is no warranty expressed or implied. CASH ONLY. The sale is final. We meet in a very public place.
