Frame is a Trek 730 Multitrack. Admittedly, the frame does have some rust on it, enough to the point where it's too far gone to be a nice weather, bike packing, adventure, or fancy retro gravel style build, but it is perfect for a winter ride. Chromoly frame is durable, and rides great. Geometry is nicely suited for sketchy winter terrain, and the extra traction the studs provide makes this a very sure-footed machine for icy, dark commutes. Frame does have rust, but, if you've ever ridden in winter, you understand how ice, salt and the winter destroys bikes. This frameset, though it has some rust, will have no problem standing up to many more years of frigid weather commutes.
Priced in a way that you're basically paying for the parts on the bike, especially the tires, and the labor that went into building it.
Bike features new brake and shifter cables and housing. Chain, derailleurs and cassette are all in good condition. Brand new brake pads also. Bike rides very smooth, shifts crisply, and will be a reliable winter commuter when the going gets tough.
