Thanks,
Dave's Bike Factory.
Great riding Japanese built vintage steel 10speed, near 100% original other than seat, B.B., chain, front derailleur, rims and tires.
23,25 inch frame fits taller riders in the 5-''10 // 6-"1 range.
Bikes been lightly ridden / mostly stored. Frame alignment still checks out to just under 1mm in variance, same specs akin high quality new bikes.
This bike is also warranted till end of 2026,, should any problems arise they are remedied free of charge til end of 2026.
The upgrades:
Vintage Italian made seat by Vetta, made of leather, replaces the original but regrettably beyond repair 'dry-rot' Brooks.
The Schwinn hubs are rebuilt with grade 25 Campy/Dura-ace quality bearings, wheels hand built with new spokes and new alloy "27 (630mm) Alex X-202 rims.
New modern cartridge B.B. replaced worn out original cup and cone style, ultimately far more reliable w/ much less service needs in big picture!
Paint looks great, does have small 'typical of vintage' nicks and scuffs, but no deep gouges down into metal, bike is rust free!
Note the drive train components have been purposely chosen so to allow the running of a wider-extra heavy duty chain by KMC, the K1SL in Hi-Chrome meant for electric bikes, The advantage is on standard pedal bikes these typically last 6000 miles or more, or 3 times longer than standard bike chains!
Bike has a vintage mirror in working order, mounted on now hard to find "Randonneur" bend handlebars.
Asking 300, a deal considering what a shop would typically charge just for a pair of handbuilt wheels + new tires installed!
For appointment/view etc call Dan, phone calls preferred,.. texting with call back option works as well, delivery is available during daylight hours Thursday/Friday!
Weekends can show at home location 10 til 6 on Saturday, Noon til 4 on Sunday
