Size 18" medium frame will fit a wide range of rider heights from 5'4"ish to 5'9"ish with adjustments.
Fully rebuilt from the frame up. Paint has a few scuffs on it, but no dents, dings or rust. Original 80's Schwinn graphics still show nicely.
Cool thing about this frame is that it is a lugged, chromoly steel, that was made in Chicago! This was around the end of the line for Chicago made Schwinn's. This era of Traveler model are the nicest era for all the model years this bike was produced. The 4130 chromoly frame tubing is lightweight and strong. The aluminum components are strong, lightweight and work well.
Aluminum wheels are lightweight, very clean, and spin true/smooth.
Bike has new cables and housing for both brakes and shifting, new chain, fresh freewheel, fresh tires and brand new grips. Townie handlebar conversion is perfect for sporty, yet comfortable cycling. This bike is much faster than most townies/cruisers, due to the fact it's built on a road bike platform. It's more comfortable than most road bikes, due to the handlebar/stem setup. Stem mounted shifters are easy to use.
