Meticulous frame up restoration. These vintage Sirrus models are sought after for their high build quality, comfortable geometry, and their lugged construction. This particular example is in wonderful condition. Torn down all the way to the bare frame, every part has been meticulously cleaned, regreased and reassembled. The wheels have been de-laced, cleaned, and then re-laced symmetrically. Handbuilt, matching hard anodized Wobler double wall rims. High end when new, not many of these wheelsets exist in the world today in this nice of condition. 700x25 Schwalbe Marathon rubber is like new. Tire clearance on this one is that of a true road bike, you could maybe sneak 28c in there, but not much more. It's a true road bike.
Shimano bar end shifters are the gold standard in simple reliability & comfort. Cartridge bottom bracket with Sugino forged crankset, Deore LX long cage rear derailleur, brand new bar tape, brand new cables and housing all around. Comfortable, modern WTB SST saddle. Fresh off the repair stand.
