Someone has these online for 149 a piece and says they are colored in prints.
I'm not sure but I think it's just prints and not colored in but I could be wrong
These 2 prints are roughly 13" x 10 1/2 Framed.
The frames have chips and parts of the paint missing.
They have little red spots throughout the print. Not sure what it is but not noticeable till you get up close.
Here is what the person online said that sold theirs on etsy:
About this item
Did you ever have an art piece that you liked so much that you will never lower the price so that it will stay around as long as possible? Just me? Well okay then....this is the one.
A charming ink on color of people in a square with a 1930's era car in the center and a tower with three statues on the top in the distance. I am guessing Paris since that was the place Marcel Julien Baron did so much of his work.
This print is signed on the bottom right corner in pencil "Baron."
It was purchased at auction is not verified as authentic so please see the photo before purchase.
My language on technique may not be accurate so please go with the details I am putting below.
The edge is very defined so before I removed it from the frame I thought it was a print.
The ink portion of the drawing is raised and textured which leads me to believe that this is an original work. The coloring is flat, under the ink. It looks like he did an ink drawing over a lithograph or aquatint (this is where my knowledge of technique gets murky).
The color part has a very defined border but the ink passed the lines in spots on the bottom.
The 6 12" X 9" artwork is done on board.
The outer matte size is 12 3/4" X 15 1/2."
