However, we had an oops; it was dropped and the base detached from the main fan unit; but it still works great.
Rather than placing it in the recycling bin, I thought to ask if anyone wants to use it laying down across a table or desk.
My house is frequented by small grandchildren and so it would not be suitable to use here.
