These international high school students are still waiting anxiously for the news that they will soon meet their new host. Will you be the first to open your heart and home of one of these awesome students and help make a dream come true?
CETUSA is seeking hosts for the 2019/20 academic school year.
Sporty Vilma from Finland, 17, dreams of enjoying the beautiful Minnesota landscape. She likes cold weather and counts among her interests: skiing, ice hockey, snowboarding, jogging, hiking, walks and photography. Some day Vilma would like to be a police officer after serving in the military.
Basketball loving Yves from France, 15, enjoys attending sporting events, computers, soccer and pop music. Yves hopes to enjoy Minnesota culture with a family that understands he cannot eat pork for religious reasons. Yves is happy to visit your church with you once a month & would love to help around the house & enjoy a Netflix series together as a family. His goal is to be a sports journalist.
Fifteen year old Pluem from Thailand has many dreams; but her biggest dream is to study in the USA! She enjoys classical, pop and acoustic guitar music. Pluem has many other interests, including: debate, camping, computers, reading, badminton, basketball, volleyball & photography. She ends each evening with reading a book. Thailand is the “Land of Smiles.” Bring some smiles to your home via Pluem!
Breno from Brazil, 15, states he is very adaptable. Breno is only allowed by his country to study here for one semester. He enjoys running, soccer, swimming, wrestling, video games and mixing music like a DJ. Although undecided about his future aspirations, he most likely will choose pursuing law, business or marketing. Breno’s main desire in wanting to join a USA family is to “become a better person.”
