Up for sale is a Nintendo Entertainment System – Asian version (model NESA-001). This is NOT the North American NES (NES-001)—please read details carefully.

I purchased this console last summer while visiting Bangkok, Thailand as a display piece for my collection. It presents very well and is a great example of an international NES variant.

Condition:
* Console has been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned
* Overall in very good cosmetic condition

Functionality:
When purchased, the store owner powered it on and demonstrated that it works. It has not been powered on since, as I do not have the correct power adapter or compatible games.

Important Notes (Please Read):
* This is the Asian-market version, not the U.S. model
* Requires power adapter model NES-002M (not included)
* Designed for NTSC (60Hz) systems; compatible with most North American displays, but may require proper AV/RF setup depending on your TV
* One of the previous owners lifted a pin on the CIC chip (shown in photos). This is a common modification to get the NES to stop blinking when a dirty game is inserted.

This is a great piece for collectors or anyone interested in international Nintendo hardware variants. It displays well and is becoming harder to find in this condition.
