Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our construction projects—from initial planning to final completion. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and site supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Spend 70% of the time on carpentry projects, working with the crews or independently, and 30% on management/admin tasks
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients to ensure alignment with project specifications and expectations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and resolve any on-site issues.
Review and approve project documents, contracts, and change orders.
Manage procurement of materials, permits, and equipment.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders on project status, risks, and solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). OR
5+ years of experience in construction management or project supervision.
Proven track record of managing commercial, residential, or industrial projects (depending on company focus).
Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred.
