The Project: We are producing a high-intensity, atmospheric short film exploring moral decay, consequence, and survival. This is a gritty, character-driven piece with minimal dialogue, relying on raw physicality and emotional performance. Content will be psychologically and visually disturbing (though non-sexual). Think Pusher meets Good Time.
Shoot Dates: April 2026
4 day shoot, dates TBD based on cast availability
Location: Minneapolis and St. Paul
Format: anamorphic widescreen
Compensation: This film is being strictly produced under the SAG-AFTRA ultra-low budget agreement; you working pros are most welcome (and the project is safe as regards your guild membership). Onscreen title card and IMDb credit, excellent meals, 12-hour minimum turnaround, transportation, and a copy of the final film for your reel. Potential for deferred payment if festival distribution is secured.
SEEKING
LEADS:
· LEO (Male, 20s-early 30s): A low-level enforcer with a frantic, desperate energy. He's in over his head, driven by fear and a crumbling code. Requires intense emotional range and comfort with physical distress. (Open ethnicity)
· MAYA (Female, 20s-early 30s): A calculating, observant fence who sees everything as a transaction. She is the calm in the storm until the storm enters her home. Cold exterior with tectonic pressure underneath. (Open ethnicity)
· RIVER (Female, 20s-early 30s): A paramedic or night-shift worker who stumbles into the chaos. An everyday person whose compassion becomes her vulnerability. The audience's anchor into the nightmare. Requires a transformative arc from normalcy to sheer terror. (Open ethnicity)

· THE KINGPIN (Any Gender, 30s-60s): Authority and menace without raising their voice. The quiet center of the criminal world.
· DETECTIVE VARGAS (Any Gender, 40s-60s): Weary, pragmatic, and morally ambiguous. Has seen too much to be shocked.
· CRIMINALS / HENCHPERSONS (Various, 18+): Distinct looks and presence. Threatening through stillness, not caricature.
· POLICE OFFICERS (Various, 20s-50s)
· CITY NIGHT DWELLERS (Various, All Ages 18+): Bartenders, homeless individuals, night workers, passersby who witness fragments of the chaos.
