My parents bought this set on their honeymoon in Mexico in 1965. It always sat on a display table in our formal living room, but wasn’t really played. Neither of my parents played chess. But my brother and I would play with the pieces as children a bit. Over the years one of the king pieces broke, as shown— but it’s a fairly clean break and would glue together quite easily
There are very very slight signs of age/wear as expected.
Black and White board measures 14 x 14 inches
The king is approximately 4.25 inches tall; other pieces are shorter.
