The HP Pavilion p2-1120 was a budget desktop PC back in 2011 making it suited for basic home or school tasks.
Running windows, the machine was geared towards, basic office work, web browsing, and media consumption.
It uses a Pegatron APXD1-DM Micro-ITX motherboard with a dongle power supply (like a laptop uses.)
It is light, very power efficient, quiet and cool running.

Why you do *NOT* want this:
This computer is from 2011! NO built-in Wifi. NO built-in Bluetooth*: Only 100/10Mb Fast Ethernet.
Old Dual Core 1.7 Ghz AMD 64bit processor (Slow CPU!)
Has NO expansion (PCI) slots and NO fast I/O external connections: only USB 2!
Finally it internally only has TWO SATA ports: one for the HDD/SSD and the other for the optical (DVD) drive.
So under resourced by today's standards for most modern applications.
Why you *MIGHT* want this even today:
The built in graphics on the CPU chip has decent performance for it's age
AND supports TWO displays simultaneously: one VGA and One DVI
At resolutions of 1920 x1080 (FHD) on BOTH ports simultaneously.
It also has as re-recordable CD+R/DVD+R optical drive.
So again, basic office work, web browsing, and media consumption work fine
but would not use for gaming, content creation or HD media consumption.
The motherboard (MB) has been updated to the latest UEFI firmware and
I have upgraded the memory to 16GB of PC3-10600 DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
Also pulled the old slow HDD, replaced with a 300GB Intel 710 series
High Write Endurance (multi petabyte!) SATA2 SSD
Both of these changes makes the system run faster and more responsive than stock.
Finally, added two more USB2 connectors on the rear of the enclosure to the
unused USB header of the motherboard to increase the total USB2 ports from 6 to 8.
(Did this to not use up existing USB ports for possible add-on WIFI and Bluetooth USB dongles.)
As such, this COULD be a fun system for a young (at heart) HOBBYIST
with little to lose by hacking it.
I put a clean, activated install of Windows 10, with drivers updated.
It is fully functional but WIN10 on this hardware can be rather slow at times even if it boots fast.
But if you need an almost current copy of Windows (WIN11 will not install on this hardware)
probably a good way to have an instance very cheap.
It is also has a Linux partition with a fresh copy of Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon installed
that while takes longer to boot, is not painfully slow for most things you might do.
Dual boot via GRUB menu.
Web browsing with Firefox (part of the linux distribution) can be a bit sluggish, I have also installed and
recommend using Brave Browser: I use it on on older systems with limited system resources to make them tolerable.
I have tested it a fair bit and believe everything works. Ran for months in DUAL 27” FHD (1920 x 1080) monitors: worked nice.
(One VGA and the other using a passive DVI to HDMI cable)
Includes minitower enclosure and dongle power supply, full sized USB 1.1 keyboard with full side keypad layout
and built in USB 1.1 hub, Microsoft Intellimouse USB Ball Mouse and one 19” 1280 x1024 ViewSonic VA902b VGA Monitor and VGA cable.
* I often ran in it with a BrosTrend AX900 (AX7L) USB WIFI 6 dongle for Internet and printer access.
(Chosen due to having both Windows AND Linux driver support)
If you want the WIFI dongle, $10 extra. WIFI DOES run faster than the fast ethernet wire rate
(which itself runs pretty much at wire speed)
and eliminates the need to run cable to the PC for internet access and in my case, printing.
Drivers already installed or are PnP.
Also have a Kinivo BTD500 Bluetooth 5.0 EDR dongle I used for audio (BT headphones)
and low speed peripherals (BT KB/mouse) likewise for another $10 extra. Neither are needed to run the system,
just can make it a cleaner deployment with fewer cables.
