Hi there! I’m looking for someone to take over my current lease at The Park at City West Apartments in Eden Prairie, from June 1st through October 31st (your move-in date negotiable).
This is a spacious, modern, 893-sq ft 1 BR/1 BA apartment on the top floor (no one above you!) in a beautiful, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood just minutes away from restaurants, Bryant Lake Regional Park, Lone Lake Park, and Eden Prairie’s commercial center.
The unit includes a den, fireplace, full-sized washer and dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, built-in microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and a large balcony overlooking City West Parkway and a large pond across the street. The balcony faces east, so if you’re an early riser or someone who loves an all-nighter, you’ll get to see some pretty spectacular Minnesota summer sunrises across the water! There are also two smaller ponds to the west of this building, just across the parking lot, that are perfect for walks, jogs, or bike rides.
The property includes a 24-hour exercise facility, indoor basketball court, a large indoor pool, an internet cafe with free wireless, and a parcel locker that allows you to retrieve your packages 24/7.
While I’m at it, two additional pros to this place: 1) DOGS AND CATS ALLOWED!! (I believe there are breed restrictions, but would have to check); and 2) the leasing office and maintenance staff are super friendly, accommodating, and fast. In fact, earlier this year I wrote a sparkling review highlighting the staff's awesomeness here, and I NEVER write reviews. Like, once I wrote a short review about a CBD shop because they were offering a discount if you rated them online. That’s it, though.
This apartment would be ideal for a single professional, a couple, or someone looking for a quiet place to spend the summer and fall. The apartment is also less than a ¼-mile south of Optum, and would be ideal for Optum employees looking to walk or bike to work.
The unit is in great condition, and I’ve kept it very clean and well-maintained over the 2 years that I’ve lived here. I would also clean it well before your move-in. No lingering cigarette or pet odors, cuz that's nasty.
At the end of my lease term (Oct 31st), you would also have the option of extending the lease if you so chose. From June 1st to October 31st, your portion of the rent will be $1,455/month. If you are bringing pets (2 max), they will be an additional $20/each per month. Your $1,455/month rent includes the base rent ($1,390), one parking spot in the garage ($50), and trash collection ($15). If you don’t need or want the garage parking, we can eliminate it, making your monthly rent $1,405 instead. Also, assuming you don’t run the shower for four months straight, I will pay your water, gas, and sewer fees each month! How 'bout that.
Electric, gas, renter's insurance, internet, and cable will be your responsibility, because that's just how life is. I will also request a $100 deposit, but you'll get it back once my name is off the lease (assuming the apartment is still in good condition).
Finally, you must pass a standard background check ($50).
