Manager, Application Development- Specification Management

Job Summary

Cargill is seeking a Manager, Applicion Development – Specificion Management who sets goals and objectives for the achievement of operional results for the team th maintains, integres and implements product lifecycle management and specificion management reled applicions across Cargill. This job coordines the team responsible for software applicion testing, quality assurance, configurion, installion and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implemention of new software and updes to installed applicions. This Manager will be supporting a product team working to scale the use of SAP PLM across multiple parts of Cargill’s business.

Key Accountabilities

• APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Coordines and builds applicion configurions to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements to complex applicion support processes and procedures.
• APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Leads the team to perform basic to advanced and complex programming, configurion, testing and deployment of fixes or updes for applicion version releases.
• USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Acts as key point of contact with users to respond to applicion support requests and needs and prioritizes enhancements.
• APPLICATION SUPPORT: Supervises day to day technical applicion support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
• STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Coaches the team and partners with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to ensure configurions align with standards and project goals.
• INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Conducts prioritizion of incoming incident tickets and user requests.
• VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Maintains positive relionships with software vendors and negoties complex contracts.
• PERFORMANCE MONITORING: Guides the performance of configured applicions and recommends adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• APPLICATION PROCESSES & PROCEDURES: Ensures and guides the implemention of improvements for applicion specific support processes and procedures.
• TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organizion's goals, by ensuring productivity, communicing performance expections, creing goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.

Qualificions

Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience: 

• Hands-on experience with SAP PLM and ABAP development
• Familiarity with PLM da concepts and lifecycle processes
• Experience coaching, mentoring or leading junior developers
• Proven ability to review technical solutions for fit
• Effective collaborion across technical and functional teams
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Informion for Minnesota based Applicants

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.

The expected salary for this position is $120,000-145,000. Compension varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific locion, certificions, educion, and level of experience. The disclosed range estime may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associed with the locion which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
