Fourpost, a collection of Studio Shops, eateries, and events, located in the Mall of America is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to join our team. The Assistant Community and Operations Manager will assist the Community and Operations Manager with the efficient and effective operations of Fourpost, while supporting Fourpost members and managing sales staff. This position offers professional advancement and great opportunity for career development--as part of the newest, freshest store in Mall of America.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for opening and/or closing store
Assist in managing daily operations
Assign daily tasks and projects for sales associates
Ensure there is a positive presence on the sales floor
Manage all supply ordering for store
Train new community sales associates (CSA) on POS handling
Educate CSA team on brand product and manage product inventory
Responsible for receiving all Fourpost and brand shipments, processing, and communicating with Fourpost members of respective owners' deliveries
Develop effective break/lunch schedule for CSA team, and ensure adherence
Present positive, professional attitude towards all guests, CSAs and Fourpost members
Perform the role of CSA when necessary
Ensure overall cleanliness and safety of the store, both front and back of house
Help drive interest and signups for Fourpost's newsletter (email marketing) and onsite promotions and events
Assist with in-store event set up and break down in partnership with Fourpost members and partners
Other duties as assigned

Preferred candidates have:

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years retail experience
Previous leadership experience preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with CSAs, owners, and Fourpost guests
Ability to resolve and remedy guest questions, concerns, and challenges
Basic computer knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication
Previous customer service experience
Strong listening and communication skills

Physical job requirements:
Stand/move about--Frequently, 90% of time
Kneel/bend--occasionally, 30% of time
Stoop/squat--periodically, 40% of time
Perform repetitive motion--occasionally, 30% of time
Handle large items such as boxes and packages--occasionally, 30% of time
