I have a set of SBC 993 castings for sale, they have been baked, blasted, and magna fluxed, installed new grooved valve guides, hardened ex. seats, screw-in rocker studs, assembled w/late style Vortech 1.940" Int. and 1.500" Ex valves and springs, positive seals. All threaded holes been chased, decks milled @ .008". Good for .600" lift with spring upgrade depending on your cam. No wear to Push rod guide slots. These were virgin head castings no overheat or previously molested or hacked. Early 1973 date codes, very nice castings and chambers. I only smoothed out minor casting lines to blend ports.
