*** This is our new generator to alternator conversion kit for the Ford FE engine series. It allows you to mount an alternator on FE powered Ford cars originally equipped with an generator. This kit includes mtg. hardware. Note that in late 1962 or early 1963 Ford added a tapped hole to the face of the FE block to mount an alternator, and this kit will not work on motors with that tapped hole. See the third picture of the tapped hole I'm referring to. If you have this tapped hole or boss this is not the right kit for your car.
