You are the one who knows how to cope with obtaining the software, getting everything organized and putting it into operation. Silverlight and Digital Ice are two software names BUT just search Reddit for Epson V600 and there is endless good advice. The software Silverlight might be on the Epson support site for this unit.
You should be someone who has used this scanner, is replacing the same unit, or is purchasing a backup, or has some support. There may be a quiz.
Physical artists are also known to use this series.
This is my purchase from 2011 and is minty. The plastic film is still on the front panel. I had a computer that wasn't up to the task and this box with the scanner and a container with all the accessories have just been in the closet.
I've powered it on as shown but that's all I can do now. 5-10 scans usage when I first got it. The USB cable is ~6 feet long.
