I was in a band called The Infidels for a long time. But a career change and band mates living outside of the metro made things a little too challenging. After being inactive for a few years to work on work and life a bit, I'd like to get back to writing and playing music with other actual human people again. My strong suits are singing and songwriting, so I’ve always played rhythm guitar, but lately I've been writing more lead driven riffs and seeing my instrument in a different light. Links below from projects I did with The Infidels:

I’ve got good quality working gear, reliable transportation, weekends free, a lot of hours on stage, even more hours recording, and a rent-free basement practice space if need be. I have a PA - it's small, shitty and just enough for practice, barely. Also a cheap but decent sounding drum kit. In a perfect world I'm the missing piece to a band looking for a guy like me, but if you're less than that - have some kind of recordings to share - and believe what you hear matches your abilities then absolutely reach out.
While it'd be fine, I don't necessarily want to write or play the same kind of music I did with The Infidels. My writing style and voice are both pretty versatile compared to what you hear above, so adjusting to better suit a new sound won’t be an issue if need be, although I should note I am not able to growl or scream. The last few years I've been listening to and pulling influence from a really wide variety of music. Lately I've been spinning a lot of classic and modern blues and stoner/psych rock/metal and it's showing in the riffs I've been writing. The only thing I really care about is writing with people who are at a similar skill level and are excited to create music. I'm no rock god but I'm no hack either so your skill level should be near what you hear above... or way better. That'd be fine too.
If any of this sparks interest message me and we can talk about who you are, who I am, and what we may be able to accomplish together. Again, please provide a recording of some kind of past or present work if you expect a reply.
Original projects only please, not looking for a cover band project.
If this post is up, I'm still listening.
