A charcoal edgeburst spruce top is one of several striking aesthetic touches on this cutaway Grand Auditorium 614ce Special Edition. The body’s figured maple back and sides sport a glossy, transparent light black color finish that reveals the figure in a subtle way and transitions smoothly into the top’s dusky edgeburst. Richly grained sapele binding adds a woody visual counterpoint. Tonally, the maple/spruce tonewood pairing yields a clear, balanced voice with a pleasing blend of brightness and warmth and responds well to a player’s touch. Voiced with Taylor’s V-Class bracing, this guitar will sing beautifully in tune from any fretting position and resonate with impressive sustain. Premium Gotoh 510 tuning machines in antique chrome feature an ultra-precise 21:1 gear ratio for smooth pitch control. Other visual details include a trans light black/ satin-finish neck, pale green abalone “Reflections” fretboard/peghead inlays, a single-ring green abalone rosette, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, and a black pickguard. The guitar comes with stage-ready ES2 acoustic electronics. Deluxe hardshell case.
