This little giant is loaded with big bike features and excellent performance at an affordable price. This 321cc liquid-cooled two-cylinder engine features lightweight forged pistons and carburized connecting rods, delivering easy to manage power in the low rpm range with strong high rpm power. The Assist & Slipper Clutch provides an extremely light clutch feel making the MT-03 even more fun in the city, while its offset cylinders and advanced fuel injection system ensures smooth throttle response. A smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox ensures the rider always has the right ratio, whether riding through tight city streets or on the open highway. The MT-03 features a 37mm inverted KYB® fork with optimized spring and damping settings, delivering more solid handling when compared to motorcycles using conventional front forks. The seven-step preload adjustable single-shock design is tuned to strike a balance between ride comfort and sporty performance with capability across a wide range of uses, from urban commuting to extended rides into the twisty canyons. The 298mm floating-mount front disc brake ensures excellent stopping power, supported by a 220mm rear disc. The ABS system features anti-lock braking system to boost rider confidence and prevent wheel lock-ups in reduced-traction conditions. The 2025 MT-03 now features Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect) smartphone connectivity which works in conjunction with the free-of-charge Y-Connect app (available for iOS and Android) to enable a direct connection between motorcycle and smartphone. Y-Connect capability for the MT-03 includes the ability to view incoming call, email and message notifications. Additional useful functions include monitoring and notifying the rider or other contact of motorcycle technical issues, and also the ability to track and record key motorcycle ride data within the app, including distance covered, fuel consumption, acceleration, motorcycle location and much more. An LCD instrument cluster now displays connected smartphone information along with vital vehicle data. There is also a USB-A socket located next to the display providing convenient power for phone charging or heated gear.
