SPANISH TUTOR – EXPERIENCED TEACHER - NATIVE SPEAKER (Online)

I was born and raised in Peru. I have travelled a lot and currently live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my family.
My former training was in law, as I was an attorney in South America. However, since 2010, I have found great enjoyment teaching Spanish to people of different ages, levels, and backgrounds. I am very committed to sharing my knowledge and passion for the Spanish language.
My students include people that want to learn Spanish as a personal goal, traveling purposes, college students, and professionals that need Spanish for their work. I have the knowledge and experience to show my students the way to fluency in an intuitive and practical way.
About my teaching style, I focus on conversational Spanish with good grammar and pronunciation. My lessons are engaging, fun, interactive, practical, and organized. I will guide you step by step to reach each milestone in your exciting journey.
If you are a beginner student, you will get a solid foundation of Spanish from me. As a native speaker I will teach you the correct pronunciation from day one. Since I am also bilingual, you can feel free to ask me questions in English when you need it. I would be happy to help you in your first steps; I explain things in an easy way, I am very patient, flexible, intuitive, and creative in my teaching.
At the intermediate level, we will review what you learned before, and head to more advanced conversations and structures. You will increase your vocabulary and your conversation skills at this level. As a native speaker I can teach you common expressions spoken by native speakers, but often not well covered in textbooks.
My goal with advanced students is to keep the language alive and reach fluency; we converse a lot and review some grammar structures if needed. Spanish is a rich language spoken in many countries and I can show you the different uses and meanings in the language.
You should know that I am a people person that really enjoys teaching Spanish. I am organized, always prepared, committed to my teaching, and I always want my students to have fun while they are learning. It would be an honor to help you with your Spanish.

- Mondays: 8:30am, 9:45am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 10:00pm CST
- Tuesdays: 8:30am, 9:45am, 2:45pm, 4:40pm, 10:00pm CST
- Wednesdays: 9:45am, 1:30pm, 2:45pm, 7:30pm CST
- Thursdays: 9:45am, 2:45pm, 4:40pm, 7:30pm CST
- Fridays: 8:30am, 9:45am, 1:30am, 4:40pm, 10:00pm CST
- Saturdays: 9:30am, 1:00pm CST
Rate: $40/hour.
I do not offer free trial lessons, but if you want, I can book a shorter lesson of 30 minutes for $15.
Payment is required in advance the day before the lesson, via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
Before purchasing lessons from me, please review my availability times to work within your schedule.
Also, please notice that I offer affordable rates for couples, two siblings or two friends that want to take lessons together.
