Last month I posted an Ad on here seeking help with a project. The project consisted of converting the area under my deck into a shed-like storage place by enclosing it. There's really no complex cuts required. The only additional work involves covering the ceiling of the area with a simple set of panels (open to suggestions) or some corrugated metal roofing in order to keep the area under the deck dry. The deck is already slightly sloped, which helps redirect the water. I wanted to include a simple gutter. I'm not a carpenter but I have a good idea of what id like after doing the research.
I hired someone off of Craigslist, and like it goes sometimes, they stiffed me. Reliability is a virtue and unfortunately there's a scarcity out there right now.
I'd like to give this one more shot. I have the framing material here already. Whomever I go with will help me brainstorm any specifics, grab the remaining items necessary for the project for me (I have a bad back) and finish the project within a week of starting it. I'm taking fair bids and I pay immediately after it's done. I treat people who do work for me with respect and I'd appreciate that in return. I'm old school: A handshake and someone's word still means something to me. If everything goes right with this project, there's potential for more side work throughout the year.
