We are a small local marketing piloting a program to build presence for local home service businesses at farmers markets in the greater MN area. These are not typically businesses you'd see at farmers markets. From brick layers and concrete contractors, to fence builders and remodelers.
These businesses aim to increase value to shoppers by bringing some materials, finish options and photos that would normally require a home or office visit. Business reps will be talking to shoppers about pricing and service options and schedule home visits for detailed quotes. Hopefully making a few sales along the way.
This is where you come in. As an agency, we are looking for a couple of helpers in each area. Some of the business owners can only provide an office staffer or sales representative, and these individuals will likely arrive right at the start of the events. We need your help to set up the booth and display materials before the event, and take them down after, easy!
We may need help during the event, but you'll probably have free time during the farmers market as well.
Pay: $15/hour from event beginning to event end after packing up. We may ask you to return weekly if the program is financially successful.
Gig Requirements:
- No heavy lifting needed, but should be comfortable loading and unloading items like tables from a truck. And setting up a canopy
- Friendly and helpful, with a willingness to help out with any tasks needed during the event.
Skills We're Looking For:
- Customer service experience and friendly demeanor
- An ability to show up on time
- Ability to work on a team
Please submit a simple resume and a short paragraph demonstrating your skills and abilities match our requirements. Your resume doesn't have to be targeted since this is a low skill gig.
IMPORTANT:
Please include the city you reside in so that we can match you with a local market if you are a good fit. We are conducting a few of these test programs across the greater MN area and we can't have people driving across MN during rush hour!
Note: it may take a couple days for an initial response to this. Please be patient as there are other operations in tandem with this going on.
