Plastic torchiere shade. You could add a fabric shade on top of it if you want, but not necessary.
My mom painted it ivory years ago— you could repaint it to refresh it, or strip the paint off for the natural wrought iron metal finish. Fine as is, too. But there is a bit of paint chipping, as shown.
